Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes how Temple & Family History Bingo (the “App”) handles information. The short version: the App is designed to work offline and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Information the App Stores
The App stores the following on your device only, using the operating system’s local preferences storage:
- The name you enter when you set up your bingo card
- The randomized order of your bingo squares
- Which squares you have checked
- Your selected language (English or Spanish)
- Your selected theme and light/dark mode preference
This information never leaves your device. It is not sent to the developer, to any server, or to any third party. There is no account system, no sign-in, and no cloud sync.
Information the App Does Not Collect
The App does not collect, request, or transmit:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information
- Your location
- Your device identifier or advertising identifier
- Analytics, usage statistics, or crash reports
- Contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or any other device data
- Information about your activity in other apps or on other websites
Third-Party Services
The App uses the Google Fonts package to render its typography. The first time the App runs (and occasionally thereafter), it may download font files from Google’s font service. Google may log standard request metadata (such as IP address and user-agent) as part of serving those files. The App itself does not send any personally identifying information in those requests. No other third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks are integrated into the App.
Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no information is collected or transmitted, the App is safe for use by family members of all ages.
Data Deletion
Because all of your data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by either:
- Clearing the App’s data through your device’s Settings, or
- Uninstalling the App.
There is no server-side data to request deletion of.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a future release, the updated version will be published in this repository and the “Effective date” above will be updated. Material changes will also be noted in the App’s release notes.
